Ea added the custom directional pad audibles in Madden 2009 (explained on page 7 of the manual) as a way of adding 4 more audibles to the 5 you already have. Then EA apparantly decided that this was too much of an advantage for an online ranked game. So they fixed this by adding an end game glitch to anyone who tried to call a direction pad audible in the game. Just try it out if you dont believe me, create a custom audible in practice mode and then hit the exact buttons in an online ranked game, the game will end and you and your opponent will get a quit slash loss. SO HOW DOES THIS PROBLEM GO UNRECOGNIZED BY THE COMPANY WHEN THEY TEST THIS GAME? I am stunned at how easy this could have been found and that they didnt find it. I mean come on your NEWEST FEATURE CAUSES A GLITCH HELLO!!!!! Oh wait im not done yet , custom audibles will also permantly crash your memory card. Yes thats right their newest feature can destroy your memory card, real nice huh?

this is a complaint about the custom direction pad audibles that can be set for the ps2 (see page 7 of the ps2 manual for madden 2009. If you are playing a ranked game online and try to call a custom audible the game ends automatically and both players receive a quit for the game on their record. However when people are losing games now they use this as a way of getting even with some one is defeating them in an online game. when losing they simply call a direction pad audible to give their opponent an automatic loss.

I have turned them in online but this NEVER GETS RESULTS. ALSO people keep taking free wins online and it clearly shows on their recent game record such as 22-0 wins over and over vs the same opponent name with same teams, just to abuse the rank system, and YES THEY GET AWAY WITH IT, nothing is done about their accounts, SO I GUESS THIS IS ENCOURAGED. CHEAT AWAY PEOPLE.

I WAS JUST PLAYING MADDEN LAST NIGHT AND I GOT DC WHEN I WAS KICKING A FG TO TAKE THE LEAD WITH LITTLE TIME LEFT I WAS PLAYING AGAINST SUM BUM THAT HAS A 25-5 RECORD PLAYING WITH THE RADIERS SO AS FAR AS THEM FIXING THESE GLITCHES ITS ALL JUS BS. IM NOT BUYING IT NEXT YEAR BECAUSE THEY TOLD US THAT THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN IN 09. I PAYED $60 PLUS THE $50 FOR ONLINE PLAY WITH XBOX360 WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO SAY THE SAME FOR 2010.IM JUST TIRED OF THIS FORGET ALL THE NEW FEATURES MAKE SURE IN 2010 THAT THERE IS NO WAY TO CHEAT AT ALL, PLEASE FIX ALL THE OLD PROBLEMS B4 ADIING NEW FEATURES..

When a qb sprints backwards 20 yards and accurately passes it upfield for 70 yards, it is sheer bs. if it is not in the game it's not in the game. remove the receiver icons when the qb runs back more than 10 yards. And please stop the dc glitch online.

what do you plan to do to people selling glitches on ebay? I know; how about prosecution? EA must go to the root of the problem. i will not get madden 09 until I hear there is no DC glitches.

you should employee some of the top players to work with the game designers to help get the bugs out of your games pick them up from the madden and nba challanges and the fiwc for fifa

My problem with MarchMadness and live is that lottery drafts from MM can't transfer to live the same way Madden and NCAA does. why can't we have that same in-depthness for basketball games like for football games? sports is sports it's not like you all have to build a new action game. I find it very irritating to finish both basketball games and it's not what i expected as i usually do for the football games (which i do most enjoy). Do you only think about those who don't really play sports games? The basketball franchise modes need major improvement. Heres a hint ( YOU SHOULD LOOK AT THE MADDEN AND NCAA GAMES)!

I am heart broke. I have bought Madden every year since 1996 for the PC. Please keep the matchup site open for Madden 08 if no 09 for PC. A lot of frustration on my side.
