Where is NHL for Wii? After PES on Wii, I've been waiting for the same concept for a Wii hockey game.

It seems like all is very quiet on the EA Sports front this week. Too quiet. Here and at the Inside EA Sports blog. I am hoping that this means that all are concentrating on making some big announcements at E3.

Peter - I am assuming that Head Coach off of the table for this year since I haven't heard anything about this title. I hope that EA Sports is preparing to relaunch this series in the springtime. April has always seemed like an ideal date. Would a football title sell launched in April or draft time? I think we know that the answer is yes since Madden would be 4 months away. I would like to see EA Sports integrate its football titles with this title. Have the campus legends from the NCAA series competing to be drafted. Have their draft status tracked in the weeks/days leading up to the draft. The potential draftees could do workout drills to improve or ruin potential draft positions as they do in real life.

Notice that I am not in favor of scrapping the traditional NFL Head Coach gameplay. The idea that I have would be an additonal game mode similar to NFL Superstar Mode is in Madden and Campus Legend is in NCAA. Those who don't prefer it would still have the core game to play. I would really like to see Head Coach come back to the PC platform as the complexity of the game makes it easier to play on the PC. I would strongly recommend to EA Sports that they look at the Out of the Park baseball series for how to do a stats-heavy sports game.

Just some random thoughts to ponder while we wait for more announcements.

Instead of Peter wanking on (quite rightly) about the Mighty Reds he might like to learn of new technology that can quickly double EA's profits - and also do wonders for the Reds. A win/win.

The point is that Peter is talking to one group of people and refusing to talk to another.

These are publications that are accessible to the general public so that makes two people who are talking about the PC platform.

Name one question about the PC platform that Peter Moore has addressed to this blog in the last year. The last update that mentioned this topic by name was in June and that was almost one year ago.

How do we go about getting Tiger Woods golf game for PC?

Do we get a physical disc?

Is it downloadable only?

Is there any type of online verification being implemented similar to what EA launched Spore with?

General idea of release date for Tiger Woods - PC edition? Summer, Fall, Winter, etc.? Will this be the same graphical quality as the current Tiger Woods 09?

Let me expand on the questions that I have just asked. I have just recently picked up Tiger Woods 09 for the 360. I will even plug an advertisement for EA Sports and state that I bought it on clearance from Target for just under half-price. I will probably not pick up Tiger Woods PC edition if it is download only. There is too much of a hassle when you have to change hard drives. I would have to somehow contact EA Sports to recieve permission to download the file once again. I don't know the copyright laws well but I have always been under the impression that you are only breaking the law if you are concurrently using two pieces of software at the same exact time. I also know that certain software companies restrict the number of install including EA and Norton/Symantec.

Peter talks about the rising costs of shipping games and I just don't see it. I have purchased games recently from other EA partners and I receive a disc with a limited instruction manual that usually includes a CD-key. The 360 games that I buy come in the same type of packaging and they include a manual too. I can see support being an issue but with online-only the support costs are going to magically drop to zero? If I have a problem downloading Tiger Woods for the PC, will I be able to contact somebody to assist? Will I be able to understand them? I can see EA trying to contract their tech. support to India or whereever like all of the other companies out there. I know that their some people that do not like having to talk to someone in a foreign country for support on a piece of software. The language barrier is an issue in certain situations.

I just don't see the costs that Peter Moore talked about and I find it ironic that EA's costs doubled in a year when PC games were not made by EA Sports. Is the cost of making a PC game really what is affecting the financial performance of EA in general?

I really question if the quality of Tiger Woods PC is going to be able to surpass the 360 version if it downloable only. My experience has been that titles that are only available online don't have the visuals or gameplay that a traditional boxed product has. People like to talk about World of Warcraft but you had to buy a box to start off with and the expansions required discs.

If EA Sports is planning on launching a version of Tiger Woods that requires me to pay 5 dollars a month then you can count me out. I don't care if it is 5 cents. I am still not interested in paying to use a piece of software every month.

Mags, what post are you referring to that was removed? I'm not familiar with any posts having been removed from the blog recently.

EF, as Tim says, it is know that we'll be back on the PC, we're just not quite ready to share all of the details. I don't know that I agree that you're seeing a lot of questions answered in the media that aren't being answered here in the blog. Can you give me some examples? What are your burning questions on Tiger for the PC?

As Peter has mentioned in the previous blogs there is no EA Cricket , the game does not exist. So people forget about EA Cricket ... Cricket gamers shouldnt be disappointed much coz there is a Cricket game coming on PS3 and Xbox 360 .. not from EA though ...

It does annoy me when Peter talks about his personal hobbies and interests a little too much, this is an official EA website that should be solely related to the EA Sports franchise yet Peter constantly reminds us that he's a Liverpool fan and that they've just won/lost.......... WE KNOW!

We're interested in hearing about games Peter, that's why we come here and that's why you should do your job and get us excited every now and then, give us something to talk about other than Madden! Please... leave the footie banter etc to when you meet up with your mates!

I must agree with EF-hybrid on a lot of these issues but we must all play the waiting game.
