I really hope that the next version of FIFA will be the same for every platform, if it's not i truly believe that most of the PC gamers of FIFA will change to PES, Inluding me...

Ok, Jack and Jack's Right, you two need to stop.

I'll have to admit, I kind of agree with JR, but just about the need to not whine about socks in a video game.

But come on Jack.... Do you need to respond immediately with the kind of attacks you use? And JR, why do you feel the need to argue with him? It's obvious there will be no silencing him.

Jack has gotten better, I have to admit. I think we all remember when he used to take up half the forum space with pics.

The users on this blog have tried to gently tell to take your suggestions to the developer's blog.

Please do it ASAP. The majority of the users here do not care about the same issues that you do. Suggestions on this blog are for games that don't currently have development blogs. You have mentioned Madden and NCAA which both have active development boards. We made the development blogs so that you the user would have a place to take your ideas. We want this to be a destination where you can talk directly with the makers of the game. My blog is not that place.

The Madden developers blog is full of people who are waiting to talk you about your ideas. You have the ability to post blogs and post as many pictures as you desire. Others have the ability to comment on your ideas.

I do not program the games.

I have tried to communicate this to you on regular updates of my blog but you apparently are not reading these vital updates. The developers are aware of all your suggestions and I have told them about your ideas 100 times which is the same number of times that you have felt the need to share these same ideas. It were a hundred different ideas then it might be acceptable.

If there is an issue with the developer blogs then please let me know. EA Sports is here to help you.

Sincerly,

In fact I think I'm going to join your crusade.

To the producers, I will work on getting all the players but I have two for now.

It's apparent if you watch the games that Ben Rothlisberger, Drew Brees, Ray Lewis, and Payton Manning prefers "Fruit of the Loom" socks, while Champ Bailey, Tom Brady, Terrell Owens, and Donovan McNabb are clearly "Hanes" men.

In Madden 09 you can't even tell what kind of socks they wear. This is an issue that needs to be fixed immediately.

Do you enjoy playing the game as is?

Are socks, cleat brands, chin straps, and little stupid details that important??

If they fix all of those things, even though the cleat brands might have copyright issues or be expensive to attain the rights to, will you start complaining about the height of the grass on the playing field?

Maybe you'll complain the the New York Jets have a blond, 26 year old woman as a season ticket holder in the same seat every game and EA didn't put her into Madden 2011?

Or maybe you will complain that the hot dog vendors aren't walking through the stands like they are supposed to be.

Maybe the new complaint will be that the coaches always get lemon-lime gatorade poured on them, and in the game it looks like they use orange.

I think EA should rot for not paying attention to the players socks, and putting all their focus into gameplay, graphics, and sound! (sarcasm)

I guess what I'm saying is socks are not that big a deal. If that is all that is stopping you from enjoying your game, then I guess you are the type of person that will never be pleased with what they are given.

We are still awaiting word on Head Coach, baseball game plans, and the future plans of Madden/Tiger Woods for the PC platform. The developers blogs are nice but eventually Tiger Woods needs to come aboard with a developers blog of their own.

It is nice to see that Peter Moore has started playing with World of Goo and I hope that relates into some innovative games for EA Sports.

Moore - You mentioned who predicted that the Arizona Cardinals would make it to the Super Bowl. EF slowly stands up from his computer and takes a bow with his right hand raised. I live in Texas but the story behind the Cardinal's team has intrigued me. You have Eddgerin James who was supposedly a washed-up running back whose perfomance was expected to decline rapidly just because he hit 30-year old mark. You have Matt Leinhart who was the can't miss prospect from greatest dynasty in the world (USC) but yet you have Kurt Warner starting this year. Kurt Warner came from the college powerhouse of Northern Iowa and now name a team that wouldn't want to sign him. How many people said that Kurt Warner was washed up before coming to Arizona? A better question would be How many people weren't saying that he was washed up.

The talking heads were too busy puckering up to the Mannings and the Patriots prior to the season. News flash - the Mannings and the Patriots missed the Super Bowl.

This is the type of details that video games don't give you. It is too robotic. The story is what is intriguing me about the Cardinals. They are the underdogs and I root for the underdogs. Its more fun that way. Maybe this is why I like to play role-playing games. There is a story out there. I am not sure if a sports game is capable of those types of details.
