Keep up the substandard work and you will soon have no geeks buying your product. Keep making the game the same, yep, that's a good strategy. I for one will not spend any more money on anything with the TW or EA label. I much rather have a colonoscopy or hit my finger with a 32 ounce framing hammer.

I am shocked. As an adult gamer I have no intention of getting a gaming console just for one game.

Golf (the sport) has always been a buisness mans game of sorts, so what made EA think that people that actually play Golf would play on consoles?

I do understand the money is greater on consoles, but I doubt the sales for Golf among teenagers is larger among buyers on the console rather than the PC Golf buyers.

Also I refuse to have to PAY Microsoft a monthly fee to play online with the Xbox 360. Why should we pay for something that has always been free on the PC?

WTF!!!

Could have warned us a couple years ago so that somthing could have been done to at least continue playing TW online. Another site, downloads, etc.

I have bought TW since 99 religously. Even bought it pre-release and have it in my mail box the day it was.

I spent a LOT of money building my PC.(over 5K) Insted of buying a big flat sceen TV and a childs PS or Xbox. I am speaking for the mid to upper age group who I "HAD" a great time playing for thousands of hours with.

And NO, I'm not going to go out and spend one dime for a PS or Xbox. And it sounds like EA won't get a cent from me either!!!

I live in the Bay Area. Hope that I run in to you sometime Peter, so I can shake your hand and say "Thank you for being so thoughtfull and to go to hell"!!!!

Sorry about some of my language, I'm just pissed off!!!

This is so disappointing!

Like many others, I’ve been playing Tiger Woods on the PC for years and always look forward to a new version coming out, but I suppose that is now the end of that.

I for one, will not be buying it on one of the other platforms just because that is now popular, I prefer gaming on the PC and will simply have to spend my money elsewhere.

I must save it really sucks that ea not giving out tw09 on pc, i have bought the game seens the first release and now suddenly i just will be without, i wonder how many we are that ea just dont give a damned about, never more.

Yeah, it is terribly disappointing that TW 2009 will not be released on the PC. I've purchased and played each and every PC edition since 1999. I'm South African and was particularly looking forward playing TW 2009 as it has the Gary Player Course at Sun City included. For once there is a South African course, but now I won't be playing it.

I have a XBox 360 with TW 2007, but it is just not the same. I prefer my gaming on PC, but it seems that consoles are the way of the future. Just senseless bashing of buttons in front of a widescreen TV.... It is my perception that console games are for those who aren't serious or mature in their gaming development.

Anyway EA, hope you are satisfied with the number of disgruntled customers. It would have been nice if one had a heads-up a year or so earlier!

Hi i am rarther anoyed with EA Sports as there is not a Tiger Woods PGA 2009 for the PC i have them all and was hopeing to play Tiger Woods 2009 on my PC but i cant. Is that EA Sport are going to leave the PC users out in the cold with this game. Well i shore hope not Please Please Help all us PC users out there and do a Tiger Woods PGA 2009 for the PC. I dont think i am on my own when it comes to this grate game.

It's ashame that EA Sports has decided not to release tw09 for pc ( although several sites say it will be available). But EA SPorts has a pattern of taking away popular games such as MVP Baseball. I guess business is business. The customer is not always right. Thanks for nothing EA sPorts.

Mr Moore - I've read both your threads concerning the lack of release of TW09 for PC, and I don't believe a word of it. You have thrown aside a HUGE community that has supported your franchise for years - and patronised it in the extreme by making pathetic excuses for not releasing the PC version. We don't want to see other 'exciting new ventures' at the cost of our favourite game being unavailable to us on our platform. Very few of us will want to change platforms just to run one title.

Shame on you two fold - once for dropping pc gamers without so much as a by your leave, and secondly for all the semi politically correct crap you give us that supposedly cite your reasons.

It is a real shame that EA has decided not to release a PC version of TW 09. I have met a lot of online friends, some who are disabled and have only the PC to play on not to mention the upgrades to our computers in order to play. I can't be;ieve that EA is losing money on the PC version. A lot of us just can't afford a console. If EA would improve the PC version I am sure that their sales would increase.
