Big Winners

I still can't get over the incredible finish to the Super Bowl on Sunday and how time and time again sports truly captivate our imagination by delivering such unexpected and powerful moments.   As I said on Monday, there just really is no win like a sports win.  Though next year let's hope it's the Patriots who are going to Disneyland!

Speaking of winning, one of my favorite parts of this job is when I get a chance to see people experiencing the emotion of sports through our games.  I can tell you a few people who've been in on the win the last few weeks: Len Green (Philadelphia, Pa.), Michael Loyd (Copperas Cove, Texas), Paul Glasgow (North Preston, Nova Scotia), Steffon Dunlop (Queens Village, N.Y.), Jose Miguel Morales Herrera (Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico), and Tampa Bay Wide Receiver Antonio Bryant.

Those are the winners  of January's Madden Challenge Finals, last week's Madden Bowl XV in Tampa, and yesterday's Gillette-EA SPORTS Champions of Gaming tournament.  Congratulations to everyone.

If you haven't done so already, be sure to check out the great work our team is doing on our new Inside EA SPORTS blog covering all the action, including:

- Our own Nate Lundy grabbing me for a quick interview at Madden Bowl.

- Ongoing coverage from yesterday's Gillette-EA SPORTS Champions of Gaming tournament, where games came from around the globe to play against Tiger Woods, Derek Jeter, Denny Hamlin, Reggie Bush and more.

Cheers,
Peter
