The Ultimate Online Tournament

I hope some of you have had the chance to register and begin competing in the qualifying rounds for the Gillette-EA SPORTS Champions of Gaming Tournament.  It’s the world’s largest multi-sport gaming tournament, and what a great chance this is to battle gamers from around the world on Xbox Live playing Tiger Woods PGA TOUR, NASCAR, Madden NFL, NBA LIVE and FIFA.  It’s a cool new promotion that will eventually pit the best gamers in the world against the likes of Tiger Woods, Roger Federer, Thierry Henry and other sports superstars.  Be sure to go online to get all the information you need to get up and running.

When we see some of the overwhelming online usage numbers that we’re experiencing these days in our sports games, it speaks to the power of the connected experience and the tremendous opportunity that so many of you are now enjoying playing with and against gamers from all over the world.  Sports games lead the way in creating rich and dynamic online experiences, and we think competitions like this one with Gillette and Microsoft are a great new platform to reward the very best gamers – regardless of age, race, nationality or even who your favorite team is.

Speaking of favorite teams – it’s little mystery who Agfan4life’s favorite team is.  He’s been asking about NCAA Basketball, and our team has a great web site up-and-running with pretty much everything you could hope to know about the new game, which hits stores in two weeks.  Please don’t wait for me to mention every game on the horizon before you read and watch for details.  We also have a demo coming soon that you’ll want to download and check out on PS3 and Xbox 360.
