Hi. I have been desperately trying to get in contact with you guys in hopes that you would include what me and a lot of my friends consider a much needed feature in Madden 10. When we play Madden Online we wish we could invite another friend who could join our game as a spectator. That's right, a spectator! A lot of times i would like to watch a game between my friends rather then playing. Sometimes i want to see what defense a guy is using to stop a particular offense or play that i am having trouble with. This would be so *** cool. Please allow the third player the ability to communicate with the players who are playing to provide comments but also give the host the ability to either mute the spectator's voice or even boot the spectator from the game if he or she is unruly. Please incorporate this feature as soon as you can, i  guarantee you the Madden Nation would appreciate and love this feature. Spectator Mode- Watch and Learn.

Good update.  I was hoping for more info on Tiger Online but I will take what I can get.  Seeing the info. on Tiger 2010 and NCAA 2010 gets me excited for the next 2 launches from EA Sports.

The annual shift to football season has started and for me it started yesterday when I found my favorite football preview magazine on sale a week early.  Almost time to crack the piggy-bank open and pick up NCAA 2010.

Hi,

As we can't find any information about madden PC, and that speculations are killing hope in pc gamers, I'm asking for them. What is in a few words your vision of madden online pc project ?

Will we have a franchise mode ? Will we be able to play 2 players in the same team ? Will be be able to create our teams as NCAA allows it ? Will anyone can play it before regular season starts? can we link fantasy easports football with the game ? Will we have updated graphics from madden 08? and ... sorry to ask .. but will the game be playable before 2010 ?

Thank you for answering

PC footballl fan

cdog21,

There's a new NHL 10 producer blog that just went up today.  Might be worth a look.

I doubt I'll get a response, but I'm pretty certain that 'Trine Games' 'Cricket 10' has something to do with EA due to the name... Cricket '10'. This year '10' is in a way EA's Trademark with games such as 'FIFA 10' and 'Madden 10'. Any chance of some sort of news on this? If it's not going to be published by EA you might as well just tell us it has nothing to do with you, but if you don't then I'm sure further rumour of EA cricket will be raised.

Respectfully,

Tom

Tiger Woods 10 looks to be on the launch pad and ready to go.  A quick scan of my Best Buy stores indicate that the title is already in stock.  The nice thing about Tiger Online would be no more street dates.  The retail stores could no longer treat as a criminal when you see a title on the shelf a day early.  Years ago, I saw an expansion pack on a top shelf at a Walmart Supercenter that I hadn't realized was coming out and was told that I could not buy this until a certain date.  I expected to go out of the store in handcuffs the way the clerk treated me for attempting to buy the product.

I have never understood the reasoning behind street dates.  I understand that part of the problem is online connectivity but I don't understand why a website can't display a message that says "Online component won't be active until x date".  I don't understand why this can't be placed into the packaging.  I would be interested to hearing Peter Moore's corporate response on why street dates are used.  I have heard that it is so that all retail chains will have the opportunity to release a title on the same day.  Let the stores that get it in first sell it first.  The ones that slack off and delay shipments will lose the sale.   I have technically purchased NCAA Football the day before launch since Gamestop called and told me that the title had come in.  I don't purchase football games in this city because the reservations start months in advance.  I routinely travel to the Houston area so it is nothing for me to go to a bigger volume store and pick up the popular titles.  I have yet to not find it on launch day in Houston but have never found it in stock on launch day here in College Station.  Best Buy has traditionally been a few days late in putting our their new releases so it is worth the drive.

The cricket issue has already been addressed by Peter Moore so I don't know what else there is to address.  EA Sports isn't making one at this time.  Maybe there is one slated in the 10 year product table but I don't think you will get access to that information.  Give Peter some credit.  He addressed part of the PC issue and he has addressed the Cricket issue in recent months.

Peter must have a good-liking wife or a really nice house because he puts up with a lot from us here on the blog.  Something is stopping him from a complete meltdown.

Lot of good things. Yet you killed NASCAR by getting rid of other series.
