Peter Moore About Peter EA Support

Talking Football

It is a big day for EA SPORTS football franchises on both sides of the Atlantic. In the UK, at Arsenal's Emirates stadium, I took a few moments to speak to Stevie Morgan (if you haven't heard his FIFA podcasts go here).

In New York, we've just announced not one, but two cover athletes (Larry Fitzgerald and Troy Polamalu) for Madden NFL 10 along with a whole host of other news.

It's already been a busy day and I've still got several hours of questions from the UK games press to field, but I look forward to hearing your opinions on the latest EA SPORTS news!

Cheers,

Peter

First time two players are on the cover. I guess it works too having a offensive and defensive player on the cover too.

Fitzgerald has just skyrocketed his market stock this year. What a quick rise! Polamalu is also a good choice for defense.

Well I think its a good thing because we might get a sim game were both sides and even and This game will be a game of skill. I just want to know if they are going to put fair play in the game or put a 4th down % of the people online so we can see who is sim and who isnt.

Well wait and see

They say the game is like what we see on tv so if it isnt someone needs to be fired and last i checked only with in 2 min in the 4th most will punt if they were inside their 20

Congratulations to Larry and Troy for making the Madden cover. Since now you have two players on the cover maybe on some future Madden cover you could have the Superbowl Champs on it as a nod to them for winning the Superbowl.

The two cover athletes for Madden is great.

The team-builder feature for NCAA 2010 looks really cool and I can't wait to try it out.

Feel free to leak any more details about NCAA 2010 in the near future.

It is beyond time for an update on PC gaming in general as it relates to EA Sports.

Will Head Coach make it for 2010?  Please don't point me to the forums because the only topic worth reading was if there was going to be a patch for 09?

As Golf and football get closer to launch it would be nice to see what EA Sports is going to offer and what platforms are they going to launch their products on.

dutch football is lacking in games!

especially the new dutch champion AZ Alkmaar, hasn't really ever played a part in any of ea's games!

the game in the Netherlands is completely different than it is in the UK/SPAIN/ITALY, we play the game they pay the game.

i would advice EA at least have a talk with the Manager of AZ, Louis van Gaal!

if there is one person who can talk about change it's that guy!

en.wikipedia.org/.../Louis_van_Gaal

from someone from Alkmaar ;)

Mark.

Hey Peter,

Those new addition to Madden 10 are great (especially the uniform colored shoes). But I would like to see the player player model details go deeper. I would like to see the player model have the option of wearing long socks (old style uniform) or wear mid-cut socks like day players such as "Chad Ocho Cinco" or "Reggie Wayne" many other modern day players.

Thanks

I would just like to know when and if rugby will ever be launched again by EA? The rugby community needs to know and cant handle the fact that we are being ignored! We might be in the minority but still make up a part of the EA sports range. The game is growing boys at a rapid rate and I know for a fact its making big strides in the US. Its also the British and Irish lions tour this year, biggest event  second to the world cup, great motivation for fans to buy a new rugby game! Please Peter a year ago you mentioned we can expect a rugby game for the next gen consoles and have not heard a word since? We (altough the minority) deserve a little Moore than the silince treatment we are revceiving at the moment!
